On 14 February 2011 CMF became aware of the presence on the RCOG website of a draft revised guideline on this controversial topic. It had been posted on 21 January and the deadline for the consultation was initially 18 February. The official CMF blog gives an idea of the subsequent political action which resulted in the deadline being extended to 25 February.
CMF made the following submission on 24 February. It is in the form of the RCOG's table, with detailed comments set against line numbers in their draft guideline. It will be helpful to have that document open alongside the CMF response.
