A parliamentary inquiry to consider the situation facing Christians in the UK today, entitled 'Clearing the Ground', seeks to bring clarity about the challenges that Christians face with regard to the law, and to make recommendations as to what changes to the law might be beneficial and encourage the church to have confidence in its engagement in public life. Dr Peter Saunders submitted written and oral evidence to this Inquiry on behalf of CMF.
