The Irish Oireachtas Joint Committee on Health and Children requested written submissions from interested individuals and groups in respect of its consideration of the Outline Heads of the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill 2013. This draft Bill aims to 'clarify' the law in Ireland in cases of threatened suicide or when the mother's life is in danger.
