In July 2017, during its 120th session, the UN Human Rights Committee finalised its first reading of draft General Comment on article 6 [Right to Life] of the Covenant and subsequently invited all interested stakeholders to comment on the Committee's Draft.

Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) was founded in 1949 and is an interdenominational organisation with over 5,000 doctors, 900medical and nursing students and 300 nurses and midwives as members in all branches of medicine, nursing and midwifery.
