Applications are invited from Christian health professionals interested in and available for a short medical (primary and ambulatory care) mission to rural Uganda. You will be serving with registered charity Evangelistic Medical Missions Abroad (EMMA) which is insured and ATOL protected, see www.uk-emma.org for more details.
We aim to gather a multi-disciplinary team in order to manage women's and children's health issues, musculoskeletal problems, refractive errors, dental problems and long term conditions in older adults. Volunteers will be expected to contribute to the evangelistic aspects of the mission as we work alongside local churches and Christian leaders.
Estimated cost for the mission is £2000 per person which includes flights, visa, EMMA polo shirts, travel insurance as well as in-country transport, food and accommodation. Please contact info@uk-emma.org for an application form or with any questions.
