CMF is deeply concerned by the tragic death and injury of thousands of civilians occurring in the Israel/Gaza conflict, including many children. We are also extremely concerned by the disruption of healthcare infrastructure and humanitarian supplies and by the number of medical and aid personnel being detained.
We recognise the deep complexities and long history of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. We condemn both the actions of Hamas on 7 October 2023 and the disproportionate harm to civilians that Israel's ensuing military response has caused.

Whilst political solutions seem almost impossible in human terms, CMF believes we have a sovereign God who can direct the affairs of nations and individuals. We earnestly pray for his intervention to achieve just solutions to this long-standing, bitter conflict.
