Ghana, Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG)
The goal of CHAG is to improve the health status of people living in Ghana, especially the marginalized and the poorest of the poor, in fulfilment of Christ healing ministry. CHAG's 168 Member Institutions are therefore predominantly located in the rural (underserved) areas. CHAG plays a complementary role to the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Ghana Health Service (GHS) and is the 2nd largest provider of health services in the country. It is estimated that approximately 42% of total health services in the country are provided by CHAG's member institutions.
