Dr Mark Pickering introduces a motion at the BMA's annual meeting questioning the "stated impartiality and independence" of a commission investigating whether to change the law on assisted suicide. The motion was passed on Thursday 30 June 2011. It notes that a "significant majority" of commission's members are in favour of assisted suicide. (June 2011)
