Thanks to all who contributed to the CMF Christmas Appeal to support CMF's work with students. A total of £57,785 was received with Gift Aid. Our Three Year Development Plan appeal currently stands at £277,000 with a target of £1,200,000.

Marriage
CMF is one of many organisations backing the Coalition for Marriage in its challenge to government plans to redefine marriage. The petition has received over 200,000 signatures so far. Visit www.c4m.org.uk to keep up to date.
Locked-in syndrome case
Legal action brought by locked-in syndrome sufferer Tony Nicklinson is to go ahead following a judge's ruling. Mr Nicklinson, 57, who is paralysed from the neck down after suffering a stroke, is challenging the 1965 Murder Act, by calling for the opportunity to be killed by a doctor on his request.
New Word Alive
CMF is holding a lunchtime forum at New Word Alive in Prestatyn, Wales, on Tuesday, 3 April with Prof. John Wyatt and Dr Vicky Lavy. If you are attending the conference and would like to meet with Vicky on the day email vicky.lavy@cmf.org.uk.
First Aid needed
Two first-aiders (students or doctors) are needed to provide cover at the UCCF Forum – its annual conference for 1,000 people at The Quinta, Shropshire, 3-7 September. Accommodation, food and expenses are provided. Contact Giles Cattermole for details.
Kenyan first
'Called to be faithful servants' is the theme of the first CMDA Kenya national student conference, 27-29 April at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Up to four UK delegates are invited. Contact students@cmf.org.uk if interested.
Ukraine Christian medics' ministry – please pray
Junior doctors in Ukraine meet 30 April-2 May for the 4th National Junior Christian Medical Conference. 400 delegates are expected – a third are likely to be non-believers. Please pray for this conference.

Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) was founded in 1949 and is an interdenominational organisation with over 5,000 doctors, 900medical and nursing students and 300 nurses and midwives as members in all branches of medicine, nursing and midwifery. A registered charity, it is linked to over 100 similar bodies in other countries throughout the world.
