For electives information, the HealthServe website (www.healthserve.org/links.htm) is the best place to start (see Organising your elective), especially the links section to organisations that arrange electives.
There are also a vast number of other useful sites that come up when doing normal searches. AltaVista (www.altavista.com) is a good search engine, as is Lycos (www.lycos.co.uk) and Google (www.google.com). Typing the phrase 'medical electives' where it says 'Find this' results in leads to links to a number of useful sites being displayed. Some of the best of these include the UFM website (www.ufm.org.uk) for mission opportunities and www.medical-electives.com, which is a non-Christian website containing elective reports by other students.
Finally, make good use of the CMF website. This contains over 600 articles on a wide range of subjects, including over 30 complete back issues of Nucleus. Go to www.cmf.org.uk and follow the links to publications.
