The work of PRIME worldwide continues to grow. At the last count we had some involvement in 22 countries. The burden of much of the administrative responsibilities has now been greatly reduced by the appointment of a shared PA within the CMF office. Donations to the work as well as enquiries about becoming a tutor can be made to PRIME at Partnership House, or e-mail prime@cmf.org.uk. PRIME recognises a need to equip Christian medical teachers in both developed and less developed nations for the task of Christ centred education. Bookings will soon be open for a week long conference for medical educators within the UK (at both medical student and post-graduate level) at Burrswood, Kent from 24-28 April 2006. Please register an interest now. PRIME will also be running an educational world conference 9-11 July 2006 before the main ICMDA World Congress (11-16 July) in Sydney next year, with educational seminars running throughout the main conference. This is the first conference of its kind linking Christian doctors involved in teaching from around the world. It follows on form the hugely successful European conference in Krelingen last year. Please see PRIME’s website www.prime-international.org.uk for details.
We will be holding a PRIME Day at Partnership House on Saturday 28 January primarily for tutors and but other interested in learning more about what we do and share a vision for the future are welcome. Please contact prime@cmf.org.uk for more information.
