KERRY WATERFIELD has just been appointed as North-East CMF Staffworker, working four sessions a week for two years from the beginning of September 2002. Kerry will be based in Newcastle and will be supporting medical students and junior doctors in Newcastle, Durham and Leeds. Kerry is originally from Northern Ireland and qualified MBChB in Newcastle in 1998. Alongside her CMF post she will continuing flexible training as an SHO in Palliative Care. Her husband Matt is a teacher.
BECKY PETHERICK has been appointed to work alongside Midlands staffworker Ruth Selwood for six months part-time from August 2002. Becky graduated MBChB from Birmingham in June 2001 and will be supporting students and junior doctors in Birmingham and Warwick, while taking part in UCCF's Relay training programme. She returns to an SHO post in February.
