Christian-Muslim debate

'Who is the Real Jesus?' was the subject of a two-hour debate between CMF General Secretary Peter Saunders and Muslim apologist Shabir Ally at Nottingham University on 16 October. Over 300 people (more than 80% Muslim) attended and listened attentively before probing both speakers in a lively question and answer session. It was a wonderful opportunity to explain and defend the gospel and an encouraging reminder that robust yet respectful dialogue is possible post September 11. Tapes should soon be available.
