Uncover is a national Christian Union campaign to give students the opportunity to meet with Jesus in Luke's Gospel. In 2011 UCCF launched the Uncover Seeker Bible Studies, a series of six Bible studies in Luke written by Rebecca Manley Pippert. This year, UCCF has produced high-quality, hardback, pocket versions of Luke's Gospel to give away to your friends. Quick Response codes (that can be scanned with a smart phone) throughout the Gospel provide links to two video strands, one addressing relevant apologetic questions raised by the passage, and the other featuring contemporary presentations on a given passage. The aim is to draw students into 'uncovering' the evidence for themselves. The article on suffering in this issue of Nucleus is based on one of these Uncover videos.
Last year at the CMF student conference we gave everyone a copy of the seeker Bible studies. This year Jason Clarke from UCCF will speak to us from Luke, and we'll give everyone a copy of the Gospel. If you can't make it to conference, get some from your CU, or your friends can get one for free from uncover.org.uk
Would you pray for a few friends, give them a Gospel and invite them to read it with you, maybe using the studies to help? If every CMF student member did so, we'd reach thousands of students!
