HFE Bill
No apology for headlining with this again. It really is the most important legislation for decades to impact human dignity, the family and life itself. The Bill has now completed its passage through the Lords, with every amendment we would have wanted being lost by substantial majorities. As the Bill moves this month or next to the Commons every CMF member has a part to play in being informed, educating others, praying, and contacting MPs.
Last week's postal mailing mentioned detailed briefing papers on embryo issues, family and abortion.
Abortion will certainly feature in the Commons and debate will focus on reducing the 24 week upper limit. Hear a lively radio debate on fetal pain between Dr Stuart Derbyshire (26/40) and Professor KJS Anand (20/40) and read about Professor John Wyatt's unit's success with treating premature babies.
Take family, friends and church to hear the issues live at the four remaining 'Draw the Line' roadshows in Liverpool, Coventry, Widnes and Cardiff.
