  1. Mephibosheth was crippled in both feet. He was a son of Jonathan to whom King David showed kindness because of his love for Jonathan. (2 Sam 9:1-13).
  2. Zechariah the priest temporarily lost his tongue on account of his unbelief, and didn't speak until eight days after his first child, John, was born. (Luke 1:5-23).
  3. Sapphira died 3 hours after Ananias, because both had 'lied to the Holy Spirit' (Acts 5:3). The result? 'Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events' (v11).
