For those who are not terribly observant, this is not the new look Nucleus! Due to technical hitches, delays and lack of organisation, you will have to wait until the next issue. We also hope to welcome on board some of you who volunteered to help at the National CMF Students' Conference, so if anyone else would like to get involved - now's your chance.

Once again Nucleus is covering difficult and controversial subjects. Debates are raging over religious phenomena and conflicting moral absolutes. 'Science and Religion' asks whether Christianity is reasonable and true, while 'A Life Precious to God' gives a testimony of God's grace in personal tragedy. 'Dilemmas' tackles the alcohol problem and Dionysius and Nitpickerus discuss Christian priorities. 'The Best Summer' will challenge your own post-examination plans.

In this issue we have a record amount of correspondence, which we hope shows an interested and provoked readership. We aim to keep on stimulating you, so keep those letters coming. Many may not realise that Nucleus goes to over 30 countries around the world, so if you are an international reader, we would particularly like to hear from you. Articles, letters and book reviews will all be considered for publication.

Whatever your situation, there will be something in these pages to make you think. Undoubtedly, there will be areas in which we disagree, but let us encourage one another carefully to consider our views in the light of Scripture:
