North East - Sheffield

The Sheffield CMF students meet on a regular basis for alternating discussions on pertinent medical-ethical-Christian matters and socials as a group. We want to unite all of the Christian medics through our social events, and equip them from our discussions with senior doctors.

As well as our regular events (which are roughly two per month so as not to overload you!) we have a catalogue of hugely successful annual events, including the summer BBQ, the Christmas meal and bonfire night. These are joint events with the student, junior and senior CMF groups coming together which are not to be missed!

We have strong links with local doctors which, as well as being a source of wisdom in all matters, can also be rather helpful with organising SSC placements and for revision events! The senior CMF students do a lot of teaching with the junior students too.

Sheffield student group

<< student contacts in your area

Student Link: a medical student who provides a link between the student group and national CMF and is actively involved in running the local group.

Medical School Link: a graduate doctor who supports the local CMF medical student group by being a point of contact for them, and by linking them with other doctors locally and CMF generally, in order to further the aims of CMF (discipleship, evangelism, mission, values).

National Student Council: a medical student and regional representative for CMF working with CMF student groups at each medical school.
