Ireland - Limerick

Welcome to CMF University of Limerick! CMF Limerick is a relatively new group having only started back in 2017. As a group of Christian medical students we value the importance of meeting together regularly to discuss both our positive experiences and struggles related to training as doctors in this present time. We hold monthly gatherings where students can feel free to share, pray, worship, read scripture and also catch up over some nice food. During this time we encourage each other in our walk with God and try to provide support to each other in our journeys as future medics.

This year with all that Covid-19 has brought in terms of restrictions CMF meet ups will look a little different and will likely follow smaller group style formats, but we plan to arrange a weekend away together at some point during this next year. We would be happy to see you come out to one of our evenings or help you get in touch with a local church. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Student Link: a medical student who provides a link between the student group and national CMF and is actively involved in running the local group.

Medical School Link: a graduate doctor who supports the local CMF medical student group by being a point of contact for them, and by linking them with other doctors locally and CMF generally, in order to further the aims of CMF (discipleship, evangelism, mission, values).

National Student Council: a medical student and regional representative for CMF working with CMF student groups at each medical school.
