When finals came got into gear
With eyelids not battin' she broke into Latin
And finished up top of the year

Percussed out the borders of hearts
But the story's a twist, auscultation he missed
Now he's doing a course in the arts

A resident trying to sleep
Resolved in his mind to count sheep
But as soon as he'd dropped and the baaing had stopped
He was woken again by the bleep

A medic inserting a luer
Was using the thing like a skewer
The patient (it's said) was transfixed to the bed
