ss nucleus - winter 1992, Lemuel's Limericks

Lemuel's Limericks

A renal physician from Gwent
Had planned to consult in a tent
When the day came around, not a peg could be found
For the budget was already spent

A Calvinist doc from Dundee
Had poured out a hot cup of tea
It was as he first sipped that his bleeper bleblipped
(It just wasn't predestined to be)

An anaesthetist passing a tube
Neglected to use enough lube
Well it went through the pharynx, but punished the larynx
(That patient will ne'er be a troub')

As apical tuberculosis
Can cause unilateral ptosis
Make sure that you check both the head and the neck
Or you could make the wrong diagnosis
